Frequently Asked Questions
Can I prepare this ahead of time?
Yes, sear the meat first, then transfer to a slow cooker with the braising ingredients and cook on low for 8–10 hours.
Can I use boneless chicken thighs instead?
Yes, but reduce cooking time to avoid overcooking — about 4 minutes per side over direct heat.
What if I don't have a grill?
You can roast in the oven at 400°F for about 35–40 minutes, turning once halfway through.
